- 1. Disassemble all thru-hull sea cocks and re-caulk. Planning to use 3M 4200 for this and if the backer needs replacement I'm going to use marine plywood. 11 to do.
2. Install new throttle controls. Purchased a used set from Bob here, should be straight forward, it will connect to the existing cabling with ease. Anything to watch for in this one?
3. Install two 3 way stereo speakers on the sides in the bridge. While having the sides pulled I’m going to install LED courtesy lights on the bridge and back deck. Also replacing the white "Wayne’s coating" board on the bridge.
3. Need to work out the switches for the LED lights yet. I think i would like to have a 4 way switch, on bridge, on back deck, on all and off.
4. Install AC weather proof outlet in the bridge. I have a closed in bridge, during the spring and fall its chilly and would like to have a small light and heater to plug in while at the dock.
5. Replace fuel tank float seals. I found a leak from the port tank where the float enters the tank. WM has a rubber gasket kit to replace it. Going to clean that up really well and replace the seals on both tanks.
6. Pull the carbs from the Genny and Port engine for rebuild. Rebuilt the starboard carb last fall. Also need to work on getting the Genny running properly and handling the load from the AC unit. Believe this is not running properly from the carb and or throttle adjustments.
7. Need to pull and check the starboard shaft. Appears to be out of alignment from work done last fall, marina will not honor their work so I’m handling it myself. Long story, never using the house mechanic again i can tell you that. Hoping new shafts are not bent from misalignment.
8. Sand and refinish back deck. I sanded the deck down last spring. The varnish i used was poor and pealed. I need to sand and refinish it. Any tips on varnish to use??

Next week I'm on vacation and planning to prep "Keep it up" for launch day. I have quite a list of projects to work out and wanted to ask some suggestions from you all on a few.

Wow, do you plan on getting any sleep during your vacation?!! That's quite the list. I always start off with the right intentions but then someone passes by with a brew in hand and it's all over! From experience, if I think something will take 1 hour to replace, I plan on spending 2 hours on it, usually works out about right.......it's a boat thing.

I am busier than a one armed guy in a bar fight!
I have to:
1) Get custom made blinds and lighting in the boat
2) Start and finish upholestery on the bridge and bow pads
3) finish waxing
4) paint the bottom
5) put the name and decals on
6) have the marina put the shafts and props back on
7) buy a couch and a fridge for the boat
and most importantly, stock the bar!

GIT R DONE!
My wife would agree on the aggressive plan - but include some happy hours and who cares!

I'm focusing on getting the thru hulls done first since those need to be done before launch, well that and the gas tank gaskets.
Working all week on the boat will be a vacation from e grind at the office by all means.

I am still playing with odds and ends, making her my own.
1) Replace forward bilge pump-check
2) Mount remote spot/floodlight
3) Add speakers/replace stereo head unit
4) Replace 2 cracked freshwater pumps (PO installed a completely new freshwater system, including tanks, but 2 hoses cracked @ the fittings)
5) Full buff and polish
6) Install GPS system to complement my charts
I work from home, so I just take my laptop, and wireless card, to the marina and putt around. I believe the wife hates me sometimes, as she is stuck in an office
