1, replace and paint portlights
2, replace all 4 bomar hatches...and 2 they don't make anymore....
3, repair a couple of blisters and then seal the bottom ....wish the 2 PO's had done it....
4, install big trim tabbs....
5, move to new marina in the mid-bay area..

Fortunately the PO replaced the tanks before I bought her. I am going to remove the port tank, as the generator will probably go there.larryeddington wrote:I did not list mine as too many. But to Heefus, I just pulled the two water tanks on my F28, did I get a surprise. Each tank is a different size, both sides of the engine room are the same one is bigger in Diameter and longer.
Any idea why Trojan did that. I a replacing with two 30 gal food grade plastic barrels.
BTW the galvanized tanks were junk.

Heefus,
Gonna put my genny in the middle, room between the two engines. I figured why different water tanks port vs tarboard, it was due to allowing clearance for steering shaft. I am modifying the mount so the 30 gallon plastic barrels will fit on both sides. It is easy now as I have both engines out.

Replace the top on my T-top with a new Stamoid Top.
Need to do some work to my radar arch. I'm at crunch time and I need to figure out whether I want to remove it. It appears to be a little waterlogged. I wanted to do what RWS did to his. We'll see if I have the time and skills.

Todd , I had my enclosure replaced with Stamoid and it has held up very well so far , But I liked the Sunbrella better . Only because I just think it looks better . Just my personal opinion . Stamoid is more water proof so would do a better job as a top ( I have a hard top ) . Others that had used Stamoid have been very happy with it .
Allen I still have 150 gallons left so no hurry that should last me a few weeks
